Begun locally in 2003, bowls are made every year by local school children, college students, and professional artists. Bowls can me made from any material and must reflect what hunger and poverty mean to the creator. Bowls are displayed and made available for sale the day of the event. The event is usually held the on the 2nd or 3rd Sunday of May at the Burchfield Penny Art Center at Buffalo State College. All proceeds benefit Friends of night People and the Food Bank of Western New York. For additional information email your request to John Siskar – siskarjf@buffalostate.edu.
