FoNP is open 365 days a year.

FoNP gives supportive services to the homeless, poor, low-income, unemployed and displaced, children, women, men, the elderly, and the disabled in our community.

FoNP currently  volunteer groups, made up of churches, parishes, temples, businesses, elementary and high schools, colleges, unions, fraternities and sororities, civic- and community-based groups, and many others.

It takes at least seven volunteers to run a shift. This includes preparing, cooking and serving meals, and running necessary errands. This works out to be 210 volunteers a month, volunteering an average of six hours a day each. That's a whopping 525 hours a month  saving FoNP  annually (figuring a  $8.00 per hour).

A typical meal served is goulash, garden salad, a roll, dessert, and a beverage. FoNP estimates the cost at about $3.60 per person.

All services and programs are offered free of charge, without a sliding income scale, residency eligibility, or reimbursement plan.

FoNP served 57,218 meals in 2007.
