ur volunteers are the most important part of keeping FoNP going, along with donations. Without our volunteers, we wouldn't be able to serve dinner every day, or offer any of our essential support services!

You can volunteer by yourself, or you can share the fun with your family and friends as a group! We'll work with you to schedule times for your office, church, school or group.

You can serve food, prepare meals, or do both! Most of our volunteer groups like to reserve a day every month when their volunteers will come in to help.

We have only a few requirements. First, your group should contain eight to ten people, with one person serving as the designated coordinator. Secondly, volunteers should be of age 16 or older. We take pride in what we do, and we ask that you are caring, committed and willing to work!

Preparing Meals Prepare and serve dinner.

Serving meals Serve dinner, bread, dessert and a beverage to our guests.

Greeting Guests Greet our guests with a smile at the sign-in desk.

Cleaning up Wash dishes, pots, trays, sweep and mop kitchen and dining areas.

Organize the stock rooms Make sure our food, supply and clothing stock rooms are clean and organized.

Preparing bulk mailings Help us prepare our notices and newsletters for the mail.

Outdoor maintenance Mow the lawn, wash windows, shovel snow or tidy up around our yard.
